Dear parents,

I had received requests and feedbacks that timings for "The Story of Chinese Zodiac + craft" are abit inconvenient as it is in Sat mornings and most parents need to work half day. Do email to chinesemethodology@gmail.com if you are interested in SAT afternoon OR SUN mornings, and I shall see if I can change the timings. Cheers and thank you.

农历新年特备课程

 

对华人的十二生肖不熟悉？那么就来参加这次的特备课程吧！
在这个1个半小时里，孩子们除了会认识十二生肖里的十二种动物，还可以带回一个亲手自做的手工！

10岁至12岁的孩子们还会附加12 条成语！


详情：

收费：S$25/=

1月15日 （上午10点至11点30分）

• 10岁至12岁

1月22日 （上午10点至11点30分）

• 4岁至9岁 （一位家长可以陪伴）

1月29日 （上午10点至11点30分）

• 4岁至9岁 或 10岁至12岁 （依据要求而定）

If you are interested to learn about the Chinese Zodiac, join this CNY Special class! In this 1 and a half hour, children will learn about the 12 animals of Chinese Zodiac, as well as bring home a craft they made!

Children between 10 to 12 years old, will be introduced to 12 chinese idioms too.

• 4 years to 9 years old  (one parent accompaniment allowed)

29 January (10 am to 11.30 am)

• 4 years to 9 years OR 10 years to 12 years old (depending on demand)

• 讨论看图作文和命题作文的不同，以及学生比较喜欢哪一类型。
• 介绍命题作文的优势以及要求。
• 举例子并提供各种写法。
• 学生阅读范文。

• 功课。

第三天 （12月15日）

• 复习第二天的课，答对有奖励。
• 范文（假期班的范文和其中一名学生的文章）。
• 介绍完成文章的要求和写法。
• 学生完成一小段的作文。
• 讨论。
• 功课。

第四天 （12月16日）

• 复习第三天的课，答对有奖励。
• 创意作文技巧 -  四大类。
• 对每一类进行解说和举例说明。
• 讨论。
• 学生当场作练习。
• 功课 - 画出词语宝库 （第五天）的句子。

第五天 （12月17日）

• 复习第四天的课，答对有奖励。
• 复习词语宝库。
• 学生从`词语宝库选出词语，然后将它们连接成一个短文。
• 讨论。
• 附加：学生作文常用谚语。
• 讨论。
• 假期作文班结束。

PS：Sorry Mrs Tay, for not allowing your son to join in this Composition Class, as your daughter (who also signed up for this one week course) is down with HFMD yesterday. I understand that your son did not contract it, but for the safety of other students, I have to do that. Thank you for your kind understanding。

PS：Mrs Tay, 再次向您道歉，没能让您的儿子参加这次的作文短期班。虽然只有您的女儿患上手足口症，但是为了其他学生，我不得不那么做。谢谢您的谅解！
